It was difficult to remember the way because there have been so many exits. We spent the majority of our train trips with our eyes glued to the info screen that shows the current and next stations, worrying that we will miss our train station although announcements are in Japan and English even. It had been stressful and it generally does not help when the trains were always packed with people. But after a couple of days, it gets easier.

It will be cheaper to pay the fare as we go, with an IC credit card. IC cards are rechargeable credit cards that may be easily used pay fare on general public transportation by touching the card on the audience. There are 10 major IC cards in Japan and they can be used by you interchangeably.
Just if you’re wondering, an ICOCA was being utilized by us card that we got from our previous Japan trip for our trip this time. I must say i recommend getting an IC card so that you don’t need to stop to buy tickets constantly. Furthermore, JR pass can only used on JR lines.
