Nowadays, we are spoiled for choice as it pertains to basis. So much so, that it is difficult to know which is the most suitable one for the skin we have type. Many of my clients ask me for advice on this, so it was thought by me will be a good idea to write a blog onto it. For younger skin, we can afford to go for a more moderate to full dental coverage plans foundation.
This is because it sits well and covers any blemishes or redness in your skin. For those with oily to combination epidermis, I would recommend using an oil matte and free basis. This will hide any unwanted shine on the real face, but at the same time, adequately cover any uneven skin tone or blemish.
If you have dried out or sensitive pores and skin, I would recommend putting on a lighter foundation. When wearing heavy foundation on dried out skin, it doesn’t always sit down well and can have a tendency to look cakey. For this good reason, I will suggest putting on a tinted moisturiser or a light foundation mixed with a primer. This gives dried out skin a more fresh and dewy look. If you are seeking to have a more dewy turn to the skin, then I would recommend utilizing a BB cream as these often contain antioxidants or vitamins to replace the sebum which is lost in the skin.

BB creams are perfect at providing you glowy, fresh and youthful skin, whilst providing you SPF protection. CC creams are also very good for this and work nicely to reduce redness and pigmentation in your skin. If you’re prone to breakouts or acne, I would recommend utilizing a CC cream since it is lighter when compared to a BB cream and covers spots and inflammation better.
