Based on the traditional 1992 Disney film, and inspired by a genuine story, Newsies tells the story of Jack Kelly, a charismatic head of a music group of newsboys. When titans of posting raise distribution prices at the newsies’ expense, Jack rallies the guys to strike against unfair fight and conditions for what’s right.
Disney’s Newsies features a Tony Award-winning rating by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, boasting classics tunes such as “King of NY,” and “Carrying the Banner.” It’s perfect summer time entertainment for the whole family! He also participates with various community theaters and is an associate of the Suburban Council Chorus. That is Hayden’s sixth creation with Park Playhouse and he’s pleased to stick around for another great season.
